I'm suprised McMinn showed up or even knew where the Lavaca County Courthouse was located.

Great job, Sheriff Harmon!
"McMinn did not return requests for comment Tuesday night." Don't feel bad McMinn doesn't return law enforcement calls either.
Great Job Sara!
I'm with ya'll. We were hoping Ms. Dolittle would get to be someone elses lack of representation.
As for as the jobs are concerned, the effective jobless rate is 0.0% in Cuero. Anyone who wants a job can find them easily enough. There are help wanted signs all over the place, from restaurants and fast food places to retail stores and car dealers. Those who do not choose to work are the 6.4% that the state reports.
Those hollering that the sky is falling are needed to keep the industry in check. It’s never as bad as the environmentalist make it out to be, but they keep the oil folks on the straight and narrow.
They'll all (including readers) want O'Connor's head if something happens like in Tyler or numerous other courthouses. He can't win either way.
Kinder-Morgan is well known in the area for their in you face dealing. I think the first line in there letter is "if you don't like this offer, we'll just take it." I don't know anyone who has dealt with the big KM that likes them. They are the largest and by far the most abrasive. Their only care is the $$.
Great Job, Mike. I know you worked many, many hours on the case.
Good Luck, Roger.
