I totally agree. No creativity, and I looked with a fine tooth comb. How can our city council feel so comfortable to allow this amount of money to those with no real plan. We, the citizens of Victoria, are obviously not impressed and if we don't have faith in your chewed gum held plan........

I say NO ONE can control our minds. If our city council members believe in God, other's opinion will not matter. They whom believe can take a few minutes of silence prior to the meetings and pray, asking God for guidance. No one except the enemy and God will know. Do not impose your believes on others and don't let other's impose their believes on you. If you believe than pray. Just as we sometimes read to ourselves, we can pray to ourselves. We will be praying with you. Prayer does not have to be outloud for God to hear and know our hearts. I say no matter what the outcome of this debate, make it a habit to pray to yourself prior to each meeting.

LULAC is correct. Texan History is generalized when in reference to Spanish History. We need to be teaching the nitty gritty. We deserve to have our rich culture cultivated and conserved, ugly as it may be. Bury Me At Wounded Knee is a cruel historic story but non the less, it is our history. I am sure there are still alot of those whom would rather not have the truth be told and then there are those whom simply have an opinion.

Everyone in the city would be affected by higher sewer bills, said Mrs. Rangel. Well, if I recall correctly the people living in the area were willing to pay higher sewer bills and the people not living in the area, can surely afford to do the same. That was a contradiction of the issue. Voters! do not forget. We have the power, now we need to get up off our lazy.. and make changes to better our lives and our children's lives.

Pick another site. I don't think so. They will build on the south side. Truman, the plant you went to visit did not smell, possibly due to it depends on what day of the week you visited. Those plants don't smell every day. Mr. Truman, I would need scientific studies to back up your claim.

Mr. Joe Truman said it best!

First of all, I would like to thank Joni Brown. I have lived in Victoria for 52 years and I always longed to see someone in authority or with the ability to beautify our Victoria, I believe Joni has done just that. I strongly feel we should start with giving Victoria the Spanish architectural appearance that so describes its history. I am far away and will not be able to attend, but I know there are many who agree and I hope they attend and voice out their important opinion.

Prisoners, skate boarders, snow boarders, hip hop or even Africanos, are all to blame for starting the saggy pant fad. It's all a matter of opinion. Bottom line is, we should focus on praising and supporting our good teachers and try our darnest to get rid of the bad ones. Most importantly, we should give our children more support, encouragement and understanding, many do not get that at home.

    I like this.

Baggy pants probably came from a kid who had no choice but to improvise and walla he started a fad. Watch out for the politically correct way of getting the kids who cannot afford to comply with the dress code, to leave when they get tired of getting harassed. The cheaper stores sell alot of low cut tight fitting blouses. The not so cheap stores sell some really good and comfortable blouses. Go figure. Social workers keep your eyes and ears open I pray you will be a student advocate.
