Just a question but if she filed the petition on Wednesday at 2, when was it contested or found to have faults in it? Wouldn't the 48 hours start at the time it was found at default? So unless the document was found at fault between 2 (when she filed it) and 5 pm on the Wednesday, the 48 hours would end on a Saturday or at least after 5 pm on Friday which would give her until Monday at 5 pm at the earliest to have to have the corrections in.
However, I believe that any race that close should be recounted no matter what but that's just me.
Why is there a quiet zone at John Stockbauer and the railroad? Last I saw, there was no houses there. I live between two railroads on Ben Jordan and just feet from the south tracks. There is an apartment complex there that could use the quiet zone more than the john stockbauer one. Personally, I've lived here a few years and you actually get use to it and it's only twice a night. So if there should be a quiet zone, it should be at Ben Jordan and Pt Lavaca Hwy and not John Stockbauer.
Could you make this easier to read? Or at least put the totals first? By the time you scroll over to the end to see who won, you lose the names of of the candidate.
Must have been quite a hit if it spun the car around to look like it was going east on Red River. The picture shows UHV in the background and it's on the northwest corner of this intersection. It looks like, according to this picture, the silver car was going east on Red River or north on Ben Wilson. Right?? And I agree, where is the citation?

It's Georgetown area. Surely if no one up there will help, a small group can go up and build a fence in a few hours. I'd be willing to donate some dog food because that's going to be the biggest expense each month. The initial adoption money isn't too much but that month expense might be. A gift card for PetSmart might be helpful if he gets to adopt Alice. Then he can buy dog food or get care for her. This is a great story and I love to hear about kids changing their lives around. I hope he sticks too it.
It should be easy to identify the fighters, The maker of this trash got permission from each fighters parents or so he said. So, the PD can get a warrant for this guys information on everyone fighting in the video and round them up and if they are under 17, arrest the parents too for child abuse or child exploitation. If anyone is making money on these videos, then I think they are being exploited. Yes, this is a problem but showing the video or even given credit to the guy who made it, is wrong in every sense of the word. You could have written about fighting and it's growing problem and not mentioned the guy's name or shown the video and I think a lot less would have been said about it.
Isn't a charter school coming in that will more than likely take those students that were in the old school back out of VISD? Why not just wait to see what it does and then make a decision instead of moving kids needlessly especially elementary students?
