Our phone is ringing off the hook with robo-calls asking to support God's chosen conservatives that will make sure every home is well armed to protect us from "those people" that are just bad and way too moderate to vote the "right" way. Come on election day!!!!!!!.

I think President Obama will measure up against some if not most of our former Presidents. I think the bar has been set pretty low in recent history.

If the media is going to dictate my dreams, thoughts, morals or standards to me they would have to do a brain transplant with an Echaskech. But that seems to be a popular elective surgery nowadays.
Your example in the military was heartrending. Many of those that have served carry a photo album in their head that is hard to share and difficult for others to understand. Thank you for your service.
My version of the American Dream has had an paradigm shift with the birth of each of my children then grandchildren. I would guess you could say my dreams are "evergreen". When dreams become static they are no longer dreams but just memories that never happened.
My perception on this article is the "spin" the Victoria Advocate placed on the article. I respect Mrs. Ramo's right to her beliefs and dislike the tampering with campaign signs as dirty politics.
That being said, the VicAd is the issue and it's focus(or lack of) on two words to play the sensationalism card. The fact is some persons tampered with her campaign advertisement either out of meanness or stupidity not a National Inquirer headline.
How about a little Mo-News and a lot less Mo-Jo.
I know the feeling. Some times I come into a room and stop and ask myself,"Now, what was I coming here for?" Then my beautiful wife hollers to remind me. It is a good way thinking about where you came from, where you are and where you are going. And she is usually right.
Maybe "the devil made me do it?" If I had seen the headline with "Evil Spirits" in it I would have thought must be the "World Wacko Tabloid" in front of a check-out counter. Did any one at the Victoria Advocate even proof read the bold print? Evil spirits? Really?
