Why did she personally recieve 35k over racketeering? Did it cost her anything monetarily? Sounds like she is less than professional & feels like she is bulletproof since she has already successfully sued her employers & kept her position. I'll bet her employers, the taxpayers, have an opinion about her.

Lara, you say Hispanics/Latinos will lead our country fairly & do a good job.....how are they doing in Mexico? They don't lead fairly & they are not doing a good job. Mexico has 2 classes, rich & poor, their crime is out of control & their corruption is worse. Thank God by the time that happens I will be none the wiser, either I will be dead & gone or I will be in a nursing home living in my ABH oblivion.

There was some guy in Telferner that supposedly named twin girls Alley Way & Crazy Jingles.......I never laid eyes on them myself but my bff knew them.

$20 an hour up north ain't buying much. Typically their cost of living is higher than ours is down here. I hear the hourly pay at Cat isn't that great but the benefits are. And, if you don't have a job, wouldn't $9/hr beat the nothing you are currently making?

I would rather drive through Houston in rush hour traffic than drive from Victoria to Stockdale, it's safer & less frustrating......last weekend I lost another windshield in Cuero....2 in 1 year.

California is another country, wish it was on another continent.

What offends me about this article is her inability to wear sleeveless because of her judgemental friend Janet. It annoys me that people think just because you are of a certain age you shouldn't dress a certain way. I believe people should dress how they like, what makes them comfortable & feel good. I am a middle aged girl in my 40s, I hate sleeves, I have never liked sleeves, I feel constricted in shirts with sleeves. My arms my not be what they were in my 20s but then again, neither is my face or my legs & yet I'm not covering them up. It is my belief that those people who have such views as Janet, & I know some Janets myself, lack self confidence so they try to drag the rest of us into their rigid, rule infested, no white after labor day world. I will not go into that dark night, not without a fight. South Texas is way too hot to wear sleeves just to please a few judgemental people, who would find something else to disapprove of on my properly sleeved self.

People act like this behavior is something new.....it isn't, it just may be more pervasive with all the new technology, you can now torment others in front of a much wider audience. Its not just a kid problem either, it reaches way into adulthood, some people are just a***oles. You can't cure everyone so all you really can do is learn how to deal with them when you have to be around them. We as parents have to teach or kids how to cope with situations & scenarios such as these. That seems to be something that isn't being taught by parents these days, simple coping skills. As somebody said here, we should all be allowed to be ourselves, does that also apply to the bully? They are obviously being themselves....im not saying they should be that way, they really shouldn't, but the only person who can change them is them, obviously the parent hasn't been able to &/or created them that way..... we can't sit around waiting for someone to fix bullies or make them stop, all we can do is teach our kids not to be bullies & how to best handle them.
