Expectations were high and the hope was intoxicating.When I reflect on the disappointing football season, and the unacceptable coaching decisions,I realize that the bar was set too high.Remember always that the coaches are mere amateurs;their intentions may be in order,but their message is limited.
Does anyone ever say our win margin wasn't what we would have liked,no they don't.It's win or shut-up.
Finley's record at the helm was 11-20.Not so hot,Right.To say that they (the coaches) were a disappointment and they did not accomplish what they set out to do,I couldn't agree more.There is no pride in losing margin,a loss is a loss,So Quit Begging.Allow me to define a closer.A closer is someone who can snag victory out of the jaws of defeat,now that would be something to be proud of. Can't wait for the announcement.
Trying to make sense out of nonsense can be a difficult thing.Wow!what a disappointment.It's no wonder Clint only lasted a few days in the NFL,he just doesn't get it.Rick who,where did this guy come from.He bounced around on his tip toes like some ballerina,while East Central was running up and down the field,your kidding ,right.I'm grateful that the players don't have to listen to these yahoos anymore.If what they say is true,That everything starts at the top,then I'm relieved the old man is stepping down,wishing it could have been a little sooner.
Converse Judson is a class act! Well coached,Fundamentally sound,always hustling,and no gloating.What is amazing is, after losing many key players they have managed to stay atop.Remember,Wagner was pre-season favorites.
I've never been impressed with a loss.If the games lost had been won,then I would have been impressed.The players possess the talent.To end up with the same record as last year with pretty much the same players says a lot.Some of the coaches need to get their loops checked.
I've had good and bad coaches in sports, and yes,it would be nice if they motivated and even inspired you as a player,but if that is not the case.Remember that no coach is bigger than the game and especially how you feel about the game.Stay focused on your objective whether your in the game or not and be ready when your opportunity presents itself.Contribute and enjoy the pleasure the game provides in victory. Best of luck and thanks for all the excitement viper players.
I'd like to add a little something to the parents or spectators who have made negative remarks about any of our student/athletes.I hope your next remark is by me at the games, because I can assure you of one thing,I'm going to act a fool.
