I'll have to say that this was the absolute worst reffing I have ever seen. I know it is an intense time when it is a playoff game but the Harlindale team kept pulling ugly stunts the whole game. When the refs weren't looking they would head butt the boys, push them down, elbow them. I don't even have a kid on the team! It was horrible. The girl ref I think was afraid and would let the other teams coach go out on the field and persuade her to change calls. It was just the craziest thing I've ever seen!
Who cares what they call it as long as the girl gets the proper care! I agree this was perfectly fine. Don't really see what all the fuss is about. I just feel sorry for the girl in need that this has drawn so much unnecessary attention.
Poor guy! This story could have been eliminated to save his embarrassment!-
This really doesn't surprise me! After all, our kids see that they can get drunk at school and still be on the football team, or get caught with drugs and be charged with a felony and get a scholarship to Baylor to play football. It's a joke!

These comments are very funny, however I wasn't laughing yesterday because I was a little frustrated. Sick and Tired: I thought the same thing. Is that not the craziest most insane thing EVER?! And the mother thinks its perfectly fine, because he's not fighting......LORDY!!!
holein1 you just hit the nail on the head. When I read this letter to the editor I thought to myself what kind of ignorant, one-tracked minded person wrote this!! VS sells sooooo many other things! Like BRA's for instance that EVERY girl wears!!! It's not all sexed up! JC Penney also sells lingerie, should we ban young girls from walking into that store as well?? Get a darn life and GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER!!!
