Blogs » Toni Marek: Blogger Extraordinaire » Excuse me, Miss. You can’t do that on the Internet

When I decided to ditch Teletubbies and PBS Kids Sprout for the wonderful world of blogging, I didn't really know where to start. Where does one begin? I have 27 years of pure drama lurking in my brain, just itching to get out. My whole life has been just one crazy story after another. I have always held onto the phrase, "if it is going to happen, it will happen to me," because it is so true.

This blog comes at a time in my life in which huge things are happening. It seems like the past 2 years have been a montage of someone else's life, I never dreamed of having. If you would have told me 3 years ago that I would be a stay at home mom (and loving it) and getting married in the Catholic Church (by my own choice), I would have told you that you were insane and you needed to seek psychological treatment.

However, lo and behold, I am just that. I have been permanently scarred by the birth and unconditional love of a child, I have found solace in a church that seemed the last place I would ever seek it, and I am going to marry the one man who has accepted the task of putting up with me for the rest of our ever.

What more could a girl ask for, you say?

A blog where I can tell my (seriously lacking) public about the trials, tribulations, and just plain odd everyday occurrences that are my life. Most importantly, I can illustrate to the world my newfound theories on the art of freestyle punctuation. So, if you are game, jump in, hold on tight, and get ready for some not so ordinary stories (and theories) as told by a very plain Jane.
