Medina is the right candidate at the right time for Texas. She has my support, and most folks I know feel the same way. I predict she'll make it to a runoff with Perry, at a minimum. From there, it'll be a close race once you combine the anti-Perry vote with the pro-Medina vote.

I urge anyone who has an objective disagreement to watch the videos above before making their final judgment.

I was there, and this woman impressed me with her conviction. She is probably a dark horse candidate, with not near the money to spend that Kay Bailey and Perry are spending in this campaign on TV ads. But she appears sincere with her comments and extremely knowledgeable, and since she shook up the GOP in Wharton County as an activist, it looks like she has a very real future in Texas politics to me. She is running a true grass roots campaign, and her people are going door to door, like the many candidates did in the old days. I was in Austin this past Friday night, and a young man waiting our table, told me how impressed he is with the campaign she is running and how dedicated she is to listening to the people. He was maybe 25, at the oldest and he is voting early for her. She is making an impact statewide it appears to me. You Go Girl!

How do you cut off a Gubernatorial candidate that waited around for hours to speak? I'm sure equal time would've been afforded any other Gub. candidates that took the time to attend. I thought it was a great service to the public, especially considering the size & impact of that race.
