Question of the Day: Fave Christmas event?

Another Christmas question, and that's just fine with me.

Today's question is: What's your favorite Christmas event in the Crossroads?

This will be my first Christmas in Texas, so I'm keeping an open mind. But I hear "Christmas in Goliad" can't be beat.

I'll find out Saturday! I'm covering the event for Sunday's paper. We certainly don't have Santa arriving on a longhorn in Missouri... so I'm excited.

And sorry for rooting against the southern folk, but I'm really hoping to see some snow down here this winter. My fingers are crossed extra hard to combat everyone else wishing for a mild winter.

I'll be in Starbucks until 8 a.m., then off to the Empresario in Goliad until 9:30.
