Question of the Day: What sports are you following this weekend?

It's my first 7 a.m. shift since the time change, and while it's still not easy to get up, it's quite a bit easier when the South Texas sun is there to greet you.

It's a beautiful, bustling day at Starbucks, where I'm asking today's Question of the Day: Which sports teams will you be following this weekend?

Locally, there's lots of high school football to be had as we start heading into playoff games.

Today's Advocate previews what's to come.

As for me, I'll be rallying behind my Missouri teams this weekend -- the University of Missouri and the Kansas City Chiefs. Sigh... hopefully your teams are less disappointing than mine have been.

I'll be at the Empresario in Goliad from 8:30 to 9:30 after I pry myself away from the drip coffee here.
