Tomorrow morning, I have the honor of visiting a woman, who so far, I've only heard about from her proud, proud, proud husband. I don't want to give too much of the story away, but she is a local woman who has been diagnosed with ALS.

Her disease is progressing much more quickly than say Craig Fox or Pastor Bill's battles with ALS. And I think you'll find her and her husband's approach to the disease is different than what you've read in our previous reports on ALS. Of course it is, though.

I'm excited to meet this woman who I'm sure is as tenacious as her husband says, but I'm even more excited about what this couple is doing to find a cure for ALS. Let's just say it's shaping up to be a HUGE movement backed by a worldwide company you will be familiar with.

This I hope could mean more money -- lots more money -- dedicated toward funding research for a devastating disease that is so vastly underfunded.

I'm just so happy to be a part of it.

Speaking of happy, I got to see the beautiful faces of Tanner, Bailey and Alisa Friday night. They are, of course, Craig Fox's children and his girlfriend. I was actually surprised by how giggly excited I was to hug them. They made my night.

It reminded me again how lucky I am to be invited into peoples' lives. I am lucky indeed.
