Holy Mum!

Today, our local editor Becky Cooper briefed me on a phenomenon that, in all my 24 years, I never knew existed. Homecoming mums.

What the?

I feel as if I've been lied to my whole life. Why would no one ever think to tell me something like this existed?

I'm dying to find out more about what goes into making one of these masterpieces. Just how important is one's mum? Does it follow that the more elaborate, loud and gigantic one's mum, the higher one's social status? Is it just a fun tradition?

Do you know anyone who might make for a cute mums story? Someone who goes all out?
