Hello everyone! I'm the new photo/multimedia intern at the Victoria Advocate and I'm here to present to you some photographs from various shoots and/or adventures while I'm here. I will try my best to update the blog at least once a week while I'm here with content that isn't published in the paper. If you would like to know more about me or my work, you can check out my website here.

Now moving onto some baseball!

I am admittedly not the biggest baseball fan in the world. It's not that I find the sport boring, I just haven't been exposed to it much growing up. You can probably guess my reaction to me finding out that I will be covering a lot of baseball this summer. My first baseball assignments were to cover the Hallettsville Brahmas during the regional finals against the Jarrell Cougars. The Brahmas fought hard in a three-game series but ultimately lost out in the bottom of the ninth inning 6-5 in game three. (Please bear with me if I'm not phrasing things correctly. I'm still learning all of the rules and lingo)

These photos are from the Brahmas dugout during the second and third games of the finals played at Concordia University.
