Everyone loves to take photos on their phones and we love to see your photos from around the Crossroads! Here are some tips to help make those photos even better!

.) Hold your phone with both hands Stabilization can make a big difference so you have a nice sharp photo instead of a blurry one.

.) Get out of your car/house/building Sometimes we can get great photos from our office windows or driving down the street, but stopping a moment to get out of the car, leave your house or open the window can make a big difference in getting that great shot without anything obscuring it.

.) Look for great lighting Lighting can make a photo go from good to great! Take photos at dramatic times of day to highlight those blue skies, golden late afternoon sun beams or early morning shadows. This majestic pup was taking a nap during the late afternoon.

.) Get in close Don't be afraid to get close to your subject to highlight their expression, whether it is your child, pet or friend! Remember phone photos are small and are often viewed on a phone, so if you want people to see that beautiful face, flower or delicious dish you had for dinner, get close to it!

.) Look up, down and under things Often great photos are those that show us something differently from how we usually view it. This means getting down on the ground, looking up, peeking under things or even going underwater to find unusual vantage points can make your photo more unique.
