I love Christmas. Always have, always will.

I love the lights and the sounds of Christmas.

I love the goodwill shown for fellowman.

I love the religious anticipation of Jesus’ birth.

I love Christmas carols and have even caught myself singing them as I shopped. (I apologize to all who I offended with my off-key singing.)

I love being with family and friends.

I love decorating our home and enjoying the lights on the tree each day – this year I put up three trees. It was fun.

I love buying gifts for children and adults. I love going into the stores and not really knowing what I want to buy, but then seeing something that gets my attention. Before you know it, my imagination shifts into full gear and I have created a gift for someone on my list.

I love seeing the reaction on my family’s faces as they open their gifts.

I look forward to the new year and hope that the spirit and magic of Christmas continues long after the holiday is over.

Whatever your plans are this Christmas, I hope you enjoy it with friends and family. I hope you enjoy the meaning of Christmas.

Merry Christmas.
