Today at 1 p.m. we will live stream an interveiw with U.S. Rep. Ron Paul. Go to www.victoriaadvocate.com to tune in.
We have received many questions from readers/listeners. But there is still time to send your questions.
However, we may not have enough time to ask all of the questions you've sent, but we will try.
Tomorrow, we will have our regular editorial board meeting at 1 p.m. If you have concerns or issues about our community, we invite you to send them to us.
Recently, we heard from a reader who was concerned about the John Stockbauer hike-and-bike trail crossing. We addressed this issue in an editorial.
Unfortunately, an accident happened there soon after the problem was brought to light, and now, some changes have been made to make that crossing safer. We contend that it is not enough to make that crossing really safe. More needs to be done.
The point here, however, is that it was you who brought this issue to light. If we all work together, we can make our community safer, better and fun to live in.
Sincerely,
Tim Delaney -- Community Conversation Editor

September 10, 2009 at 7:10 p.m.I could not agree more. When I get a paper, I immediately turn to the Viewpoints page. Galloway, Pitts, Williams, etc. They are GREAT! And the letters and guest cloumns sure do stir debate as well. Way to go, Mr. Delaney!
