New design of Viewpoints page

Tomorrow's (Wednesday) Viewpoints Page in print will look a lot different. You should check it out. We did a "soft" launch on this new page, but we will begin to laud it loudly in the days, weeks to come.

And on Sundays we plan on adding a "Perspectives" page, this in addition to the Viewpoints page, to give you more of what is going on in the country, state and locally -- from syndicated columnists and others.

Let us know what you think.

Also, we invite you, as usual, to send issues you think affect the community. I will present your suggestions to the editorial board tomorrow at its weekly meeting beginning at 1:30 p.m.
