Your Soapbox at the Town Square

We invite you to attend the event honoring our letter writers, guest columnists, bloggers, forum posters and all those who have an opinion on issues.

Your Soapbox on the Town Square will be from noon to 2 p.m. April 1 in De Leon Plaza, downtown Victoria.

Please attend and meet our staff, visit with opinion writers and enjoy some treats -- iced tea and cookies. We also will have the Victoria College Jazz Combo on hand to provide music. And we will feature Gary Moses who will speak about community involvement.

    Dang, hate to miss this! Sounds like my kind of fun, music, cookies, iced tea, eccentric personalities. The conversations should be interesting. Will the greeting be "Friend or Foe" or will some show up with clickers?LOL I will be in Vegas with the hub. He would fit in with this forum. History, politics, and serious thinking are right up his alley. I am more the emotional warrior with lots of blond moments. Have fun fellow bloggers. Would love to share some prophecy insights with Ken and then send him to my brother, who probably lives right out near him. HA!

    Hi victorianbybirth -- Hey! Can I join you? Puerto Rico sounds really nice, especially at this time of the year. We'll miss you. But we are thinking of making this an an annual event, so maybe we'll see you next year. Take care.
