Well, the event we planned for our opinion writers is upon us. We look forward to seeing all of you at De Leon Plaza, downtown Victoria, from noon to 2 p.m.
Remember, we will have featured speaker Gary Moses, who will speak about community involvement and its importance.
We will have the Victoria College Jazz Combo performing some great pieces of music. Also, it is Jazz Appreciation Month. Jazz is appropriate for our gathering becuase it is a true American art, while freedom of speech and freedom to assemble are real American freedoms.
Also, we will have special treats for the first 20 or so opinion writers who show up. We will have cookies and tea for all who show up.
Please come and mingle after the speech. Let's get to know each other. We are looking forward to meeting and seeing you. Thanks, and sincerely,
