Disco Queen Donna Summer dies at 63

The Associated Press reported Donna Summer lost her battle to cancer this morning. She was 63 years old.

The disco queen's music transcended across generations. Her iconic 70s hits includes Last Dance, Hot Stuff and Bad Girls.

I didn't grow up in the glitzy disco era, but I still appreciate good music.

Her family released a statement, saying Summer died Thursday morning and that they "are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continued legacy," according to AP. For full story click here.
