Death in Seadrift

A 52-year-old man was found dead on Old Seadrift Highway early this morning, the Advocate's Leslie Wilber is reporting.

The man suffered trauma to the head, Wilber reports, citing a justice of the peace there.

The death of this Seadrift man, who was found near his automobile, is being investigated as a possible hit-and-run, initial reports indicate.

The man was found at 4:58 a.m.
