The bones of Chelsea Margaret Currie, a 25-year-old Victoria woman, were found recently in the woods near Rupley Lake Road.

Dental records confirmed Currie's identity, the Advocate's Leslie Wilber reported.

Currie was last seen in July, Victoria County T. Michael O'Connor told Wilber, but no one reported her missing. When hunters found her bones, she had likely been dead for three to six months, according to the medical examiner's office in Corpus Christi.

We want to learn about Currie, to put a face on this young woman for you, the reader.

Who was Currie? What do friends say about her? What did she like to do? Where did she work?

If you have information about Currie, or are a friend or family member, please help us put a human face on this tragic story.

You can post your memories of Currie in here, or contact reporter Leslie Wilber, who is working on the story. Wilber can be reached at 361-580-6521 or lwilber@vicad.com.

Thanks for your help,
