How soon is too soon to celebrate Christmas, decorate?

Christmas decorations are already on sale in Victoria stores -- and ornaments and lights are beginning to crop up outside and inside local homes.

But as you know, I could have written that comment before Halloween.

How soon is too soon to celebrate Christmas, to decorate and for stores to begin cashing in on the happy holiday?

Some say Christmas is too commercialized and that decorations go on sale way too early. Bah capitalism.

Others say Christmas simply brings out the festive child in us all, and you can never celebrate the holiday too early or too big.
