It's that time of year already. Thanksgiving. It's this holiday that sparks us all to remember all the reasons we're thankful.
With a crumbling economy, war in Iraq, dangerous southern border, health care problems, and a national housing crisis, this year may be a difficult one to pluck from for reasons to be thankful.
Still, we all have these reasons. What are yours?
I'm working on a light feature set to publish Wednesday. I'm curious to learn about why you're thankful this year.
As always, post your thoughts in here, or reach me at gsemenza@vicad.com or 361-580-6519.
Thanks for your help and Happy Thanksgiving,
Gabe Semenza/Advocate public service editor

I'm thankful for my family and the wonderful times we spend together. I'm also thankful that I've been able to build a relationship with Christ, I see my life as a blessing now, the good and the bad. Last, but not least, I'm thankful for my new Torrent; the Sunfire just didn't cut it anymore in trying to haul around two growing boys! LOL
November 25, 2008 at 4:03 p.m.I'm thankful that my friends and family love me, despite all my goofs. And I'm thankful that 3 of my friends are getting married to the loves of their lives!
