We are working on a comprehensive follow-up to today's story about the regional swine flu death.

We've already listed in-house a number of questions we want answered: How many people regionally have died this year from typical flu, for example.

What questions do you have?

Thanks for your input,

  • If sleepin' with dogs'll get you fleas, what do you have to do with hogs to get swine flu?

I was not a aware that our southern border was closed during the flu scare. Can you point me to a source? Correct me if I’m wrong.

The president and his staff were in Mexico during the initial outbreak, so I don’t think any thought was given to closing either side of the border.

It says in the post that one of the questions they plan on answering is "How many people regionally have died this year from typical flu"

  • How about listing the regular flu stats. Instead of fear mongering through the use of media. More people die of the regular flu in the U.S. every year than have died in the entire world with the swine flu. The swine flu is a mild flu strain that should be monitored but not blown out of proportion. My main question is why do you want to scare people. I know it sells papers but its not right.
