Which local builders are in poor standing with the state?

Here's an interesting online database I found. You can get there on your own by visiting www.TexasRCC.org.

The Web site is for the Texas Residential Construction Commission.

The following link lets you search by zip code for those area builders who have an active, denied or cancelled license. Once you get to that page, simply type 77901, 77902, 77904 or 77905 to find the list of builders who are registered in that zip code.

You'll be surprised at how many are not in good standing.

    We had some work done in our old house. A few days into the job before the crew arrived I picked up the paper and noticed one of the worker's mugs right on the "Victoria's Most Wanted" page. Wanted for burglary. D=
