Advocate reporter Leslie Wilber is looking for people who know the girls who were severely injured in a Seadrift car wreck on Monday afternoon.
"One girl's name is Lynn Morales, and she lives in Seadrift," Leslie said. "I am not sure of the other girl's name."
If you know the girls, or know about them, contact Leslie at lwilber@vicad.com or 361-580-6521.
Here's the breaking news report Leslie wrote today:
Students packed the Calhoun County High School auditorium Tuesday after two seniors were seriously injured in a wreck Monday.
"We've gone into crisis counseling mode," Superintendent Larry Nichols said.
Lynn Morales, 18, was transported to University Hospital in San Antonio, where she is listed in critical condition in the surgical intensive care unit. The name of the second girl injured in the wreck is not yet available.
The girls are part of a graduating class of 250, Nichols said.
"They're struggling and their families are struggling," Nichols said.
Thanks for your help,

WAVE STAFF REPORT
Two Calhoun High School students were in critical condition Tuesday morning in different hospitals following a Monday afternoon accident at the intersection of Texas 238 and 185.
Hilary Braun was listed in critical condition at Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital, located in Corpus Christi, where she remained in the intensive care unit Tuesday morning. She was lifeflighted there.
Glenda Lynn Morales was first transported to Citizens Medical Center in Victoria by Emergency Medical Service and was then lifeflighted to the University of Texas at San Antonio hospital. She remained in the surgical intensive care unit Tuesday morning.
“Two Calhoun seniors are in critical medical condition. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and their families at this time,” Larry Nichols, CCISD superintendent, said. “We pray for their recovery.”
Braun and Morales were injured in a crash that responders arrived at around 5:11 p.m. on Monday. The Seadrift Fire Department was the first group on scene.
At first report, the vehicle in which the girls were in collided with a truck driven by Aaron Schultz, 25, of Seadrift.
Multiple units of DPS troopers, with the assistance of the Port Lavaca and Seadrift fire departments, extricated Braun and Morales out of their vehicle. The Port O’Connor Fire Department directed traffic.
Trooper San Miguel is investigating the accident.
