From Advocate reporter Erica Rodriguez:

They train, protect and serve, donning uniforms, guns and courage to serve our country. We often honor members of the military as heroes with patriotic welcomes, and bid them teary goodbyes. With less than a month to go until Veteran's Day we're preparing to examine a different aspect of military lives: the spouses they leave behind.

We're currently planning a news package on military spouses and are looking for people to share their untold experiences as military wives or husbands.
