Your text to link...Most little girls grow up dreaming of the day when they will be able to have their dream, Cinderella wedding.

In today's Kim Kardashian society has bought into this idea as seen through a growing number of wedding-related television shows such as “My Fair Wedding”, “Say Yes to the Dress” and one of my favorites “Bridezilla”.

Unfortunately, one former New York bride took her desire to have the wedding of her dreams too far.

Authorities say that Jessica Vega pretended to have terminal form leukemia so she could have a lavish wedding reception and honeymoon.

An Orange County, NY, Grand Jury indicted 25-year-old Vega, with grand larceny and scheme to defraud, according to ABC News.

According to the seven count indictment, Vega, who married Michael O'Connell two years ago, accepted thousands of dollars worth of beautiful flowers and donated wedding bands among other items.

Vega even cut off her hair to maintain her story, according to ABC News.

The former couple split soon after when people realized that Jessica allegedly pretended she had terminal cancer in order to score her dream wedding and honeymoon.

O'Connell claims he had no reason to doubt his wife’s story about having cancer.
