Hello. The following are a list of stories that I have on my agenda for the rest of this week and next week:

1..I had the opportunity to tour the Adams Extract & Spice factory and interview some key members of the company’s management team. A profile story on the company and my tour experience are forthcoming.

  1. UHV is offering a new bachelor’s degree program. Stay tuned to find out what it is!

  2. Are you a fan of Southern Soul/Down home blues music? If so, I’ve got a treat for you! I’m working on a profile story about the renowned Lady Audrey & The Superior Band. In addition to making a name for themselves, Lady Audrey and her band have opened for popular acts such as Frankie Beverly & Maze and Johnny Taylor.

  3. Latino Labels – The U.S. Census just released new data about how Hispanics choose to label themselves (i.e. Hispanic, Latino, Tejano, etc.).

This is where you come in!

I need some sources. Are you Hispanic? Do you reside in the Crossroads? If so, I want to interview you for my Latino labels story!! I’m interested to know how you identify yourself. Please call me at 361-580-6521 or email me at gplatenburg@vicad.com.
