No Macaroni Fest this year

"The Macaroni Fest, held in Victoria for the past three Novembers, will not continue this year."

It's too bad about the news. I was hoping to make it to the festival this year. Last year I was out of state so I couldn't make it. In fact I've never been to one. Seems like the past three years Macaroni Fest fell on a day I either had a wedding to go to or was on vacation.

The article mentions that if they get funding in the future they may reconsider hosting it. I hope so. I see great possibilities for the festival. Even if all the festival does is raise awareness about the history of Victoria, I think that is a good thing.
