Subscribe is a great Web site that provides online hurricane tracking and updated storm reports. IbisEye was created by Sarasota Herald Tribune producer Charlie Szymanski and investigative reporter Maurice Tamman, and has been described as "journalism through computer programming."

IbisEye is an interactive site that uses data from Weather Underground (my favorite Web site this time of year) and is incorporated with Google Maps, allowing you to switch views to either map, satellite, or terrain.

Definitely a Web site to keep at hand this time of year. I've seen some improvements since I first started using it last year, and can't wait to see what the future holds for
