Did you know that at 10:00 a.m. you can watch a live streaming video of our daily news planning meeting? What are you waiting for, tune in! Watch as I try to avoid the camera and say as little as possible! (I'm camera shy.)

The live video webcast is powered by Yahoo Live, and anyone can view it (you may need the latest version of Adobe Flash, it's a free download and easy to install).

If you have a Yahoo Id, you can sign in and participate in the online chat with our  webcast moderator, Gabe Semenza, the Advocate’s Public Service Editor. You can ask questions and suggest story ideas during the chat. You don't need to sign in if you just want to view the streaming video.

Here is a direct link to our Yahoo Live video stream:

During this meeting we discuss story ideas for the next day, and after the meeting a list of possible stories is posted to the front page of the Victoria Advocate's Web site. You can vote on which story you want to see on the front page.

On occasion, during these meetings, some of us are known to break out in song (or interpretive dance), you never know what may happen next! See you there!
