Today the annual Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) begins, and we will finally find out what new products will be revealed.

The buzz around this year's conference has revolved around the new iPhone that is expected to be unveiled today, in addition to the iPhone 3.0 software and a possible Apple tablet. And rumors have been rampant about whether or not Steve Jobs himself will make an appearance.

The conference begins at 10 a.m. PDT (noon our time), and while there is no official live video stream of the event, you can find various places online to read live updates.

  • fatboy - Have you tried out the iPhone yet?

It took some getting used to the touch screen. My texts still come out garbled from time to time, but I do enjoy this phone. Once you learn all the functions and cool things you can do with it, it's a fun gadget to use.

Apple drops price of least expensive iPhone to $99
By JORDAN ROBERTSON and JESSICA MINTZ, AP Technology Writers - Mon Jun 8, 2009 3:47PM EDT

SAN FRANCISCO - Apple Inc. slashed the entry price for an iPhone in half and rolled out new laptops for $300 less than previous models Monday, the company's first dramatic price cuts since the recession began a year and a half ago.

Apple unveiled two new models of the iPhone — the 3G S — that will sport a faster processor and sought-after features like an internal compass, a video camera and an improved photo camera. A 16-gigabyte version of the 3G S will cost $199 and a 32-gigabyte model will be $299. The 8-gigabyte iPhone 3G, which came out last year, will be cut to $99 from $199.
