it looks like a KayPro computer it used floppies to run any programs!
Here is a trip down memory lane for some folks. I fall off of the path about halfway through!!!
Never had the pleasure of gutting one of those... However, I do remember my first gaming system.
Weird. Not sure why this is showing up as new. I opened it earlier to edit but didn't think I changed it.
And did anybody wonder why this is a new blog all of the sudden?
By the way CJ, thanks for the fix on the comments, the poll comments now show where there at.
I did not see the movie "Real Genius" and I know nothing about Apple products. What I remember the most about the Tandy TRS-80 is the sorry key board: once the key board broke, the whole computer was worthless. The key board could not be replaced or repaired. Also, the system would over heat if left on for any length of time.
My posts aren't showing up.
Anybody want to play a game of Pong?
Anybody for some Pong
Coolgranny - Thanks for reading. I'll be glad to help you out with any tech questions you have, or if you have anything you'd like me to write about, I'm always on the lookout for suggestions.
CJ, I wouldn't be able to tell one of my old computers from my new computer. As long as it works, I am happy. I do however, read your columns and blogs and have actually learned from your pointers and knowledge in this field. My oldest has his degree in this field, and he sighs a lot when he has to help me with a glitch here are there.
I'm surprised nobody's told you that's a Trash 80 (Tandy TRS-80) yet.
