We've been keeping a close watch on Tropical Storm Alex as forecasts now predict a landfall south of the Texas-Mexico border. Of course this forecast can change, so be sure to keep up with our coverage here on VictoriaAdvocate.com.
You may have noticed we changed our landing page to our Hurricane Central page. This page includes the latest local and national hurricane-related news, weather tweets, a weather blog by Victoria Advocate staff and a hurricane tracking map with the latest coordinates of the storm.
Send us your photos
Send your weather photos and they will appear on our Posterous.com blog, as well as our Flickr page. We may use some photos in print. E-mail your photos to: firstname.lastname@example.org. The subject line is the title of your post. Be sure to include the name of the person who took the photograph along with any additional details. Once your photo is approved, it will be posted on both our Posterous and Flickr account.
In the event we are in the direct path of a storm we will be sure to post updates not only on VictoriaAdvocate.com, but also on our Facebook page and Twitter account.
