In honor of the 30th anniversary of Pac-man, Google has turned their home page logo (also known as a Google Doodle) into an interactive Pac-Man game.
According to Cnet.com, this is the first time Google has created an interactive and playable home page logo.
"When we became aware of the...anniversary," said Ryan Germick, a member of the Google Doodle team, "we thought it would be awesome to create not only something that references Pac-Man on the home page, but also something playable." [Source:Cnet.com]
Google's Pac-Man game has 255 levels, is available as a one-player version with Pac-Man alone, or a two-player version that features both Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man.
The Pac-Man Doodle will be available for 48 hours after the day is over. [Source: CBS2Chicago.com]

You'll have to visit the classic Google homepage to play. If you use iGoogle, sign out to see the classic version. Wait a few seconds for the game to start. Play the game using your keyboard arrow keys. Tap the 'insert coin' button twice and you can play Ms. Pac-Man simultaneously using the W-A-S-D keys. (Thanks for that tip, @codearchitect!)
