  • ChrisCobler...I understand why the iPhone needs to know where you are so that it can tell you how to get to where you want to go. What I don't understand and haven't seen an explanation for is the MAINTAINING of the data and subsequent transmitting to Apple to be stored in THEIR database for long periods. That part is, in my opinion, indefensable.

  • Well, when the iPhone 4 was launched I did say I'd wait for the white iPhone. And I waited. And waited. So now here I am, still using my old iPhone 3G...which is very slow, but still in good condition.

    It's time for an upgrade, but not sure if I should wait until the next generation of the iPhone, rumored to be released in September or just get the iPhone 4 now. Decisions, decisions.
