So the kids are out of school. It’s the busiest time of year for travel. With all the vacations and summer activities going on, the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center typically sees a decline in donations. But the need for blood never goes away.
The demand for blood continues and even increases during the summer months, a time when many people aren’t available to donate. You can help the South Texas community avoid a summer blood shortage.
Donors who make multiple donations from May 1 through Sept. 30 will be entitled to an H-E-B gift card. As an added incentive, donors who donate during the month of May will be entered for a chance to win a family four-pack of Fiesta Texas Season Passes.
