talking with other parents there seems to have been a teacher husband confort an AP on campus in front of kids about them carry on with an extra marital thing...still seeking more info...good thing the husband didn't bring a gun on campus

When we the taxpayer pay for out of town events in the summer you are still on school official business. Vegas, San Antonio it doesnt matter.

Either way Mr Cain, VISD attorney will say it was off campus. End of story. Watch. But the event on campus I guess will go unnoticed. Mr Cain I assume will get pd. huge this year due to all the issues that he has supressed.

Riverboat-Where do I get off? Isn't it common sense that being an AP at the senior campus where grades 10-12 attend is just a little higher profile than being the AP at the freshman campus. Isn't that the higher career path for someone looking to get ahead. Wouldn't the principal at the Senior campus have a little more prestige than the prinicpal at the freshman campus, or at a middle school, or even an elementary school. It's a career ladder, and getting busted on it for something someone else did bites. I respect that you may not see it that way, but don't take it personally if I do. I have relatives that work for the district. The district makes so that people, their own employees, are fearful to ever speak out on anything. It's very easy to be blackballed and labeled as not a team player in your file for voicing concern. Where else do you get to find out what you are going to make that yearonths after signing your contract and weeks after actually starting the job.

Why does my previous comment have a red "remove" sign by it? There are other comments that have "report a violation". I am not writing anything that should have to be removed. I am merely defending/explaining why the district has not come out with all the information some people think they are entitled to.

Wait just a minute there. Where do you get off saying the Stroman campus is a downgrade? This AP who was moved to our campus is still an administrator with the same salary, right? Granted, he had no say in the matter any more than most of the teachers who were relocated after consolidation. But this person is still an AP with the same amount of respect wherever he goes.

Whatever happened another person, completely uninvolved was made to move from the Senior campus to the Stroman campus. So he was forced to downgrade because of the actions of another. Why not use this opportunity to promote someone up? Or take volunteers. Maybe someone wanted to get out of where they were and would have happily moved instead of getting slammed on the career path. I wonder whats in store next year. VISD always full of drama.

The district can not release any "allogations" raised against an employee. Other people who have first hand knowledge might but until it is "proven" the district can not release information about the incident.
