When I called the station a month ago, the Coogs were alone in the Top 25. AT THIS WRITING (it's in the middle paragraph) the Coogs are #6, with other Texas teams in the Top 25, including Baylor and Texas.
As for the small test of playing with the big boys, the UH already defeated Southern Mississippi earlier in the season. Does that mean we passed already?
So which is it, are they the only Texas team in the top 25 or aren't they? I count 4 teams. You have become a great football team and I'm glad to see it. I don't think you can argue that you have played only scrub teams and haven't had to earn that ranking. Notice I didn't say you didn't deserve it. You just haven't had to earn it yet. Many average teams could go undefeated with a schedule like that. Today will be a small test of what it's like to play with the big boys.
