Is it possible most Supreme Court justices don't understand the near-constant awkwardness and embarrassment being a middle-school girl causes? This story on Slate certainly suggests it is. http://www.slate.com/id/2216608 The court heard arguments in a well-publicized case in which school officials strip-searched a 13-year-old girl for prescription Advil (I hear the street value on those is… oh, wait, negligible.) During the proceedings, Justice Antonin Scalia apparently learned the kids these days can sniff markers to get high. And we all learned other kids put stuff in Justice Stephen Breyer’s underwear. Or he in theirs. Or, whatever. Geez, guys. Plus, there was the argument that kids don’t want to take pills that were stored in other kids’ underwear. Yeah, I’d call that the ick factor.

Our schools are full of idiots - and it's not the kids I'm referring to. Sorry, sad but true. If that was my daughter, I'd be in jail on an assault charge - period.
