Cuero and Rice Consolidated move to the semifinals.

The Gobblers get China Spring, which avenged an earlier loss to district foe Waco La Vega.

Cuero must find a way to contain China Spring quarterback Dustin Eskew. The key will be the Gobblers' technique in the secondary and their ability to put pressure on Eskew.

Cuero will need big games from defensive ends Kaeron Johnson and Stefon Hargrove.

The Gobblers could also benefit from controlling the ball.

The Raiders get Elysian Fields, which advanced to the semifinals on a Hail Mary pass against Arp.

Rice Consolidated seems to be a team of destiny. The Raiders pulled out wins over Lago Vista, Stockdale and Refugio.

The Raiders are getting big plays from their prime-time players. Not a bad formula.

Palacios had its season end with its second loss to Cuero. The Sharks had a great season and were a great story.
