Richard from Shiner is right about Refugio. Very talented and fun to watch. Showed their stuff against George West. Check the Bobcats out if you get a chance.

As for Bloomington, the Bobcats have made prograss but still have a long way to go. Jason Herring of Refugio said "Rome wasn't built in a day," and he's right. It will be tough for Bloomington to break its district losing streak this season.

What makes a good coach? There's lots of answers. A good coach is like a good teacher. He or she knows how to motivate, to be firm but fair and how to communicate. The day and age of motivating out of fear is over. Very few coaches can win without talent, but good coaches know how to get the most out of their talent.
