It's Back

High school football is back.

Friday nights in Texas during football season are special.

Driving to the game, eating out, seeing the stadium lights are unique experiences.

I'll be heading to Cuero on Friday night for the Beeville-Cuero game. It should be a great game and one of many.

Hopefully, this will be fhe first of many games from now until almost Christmas.

It's crazy, it's fun and it's unlike anything else.

    Well, it just so happens that there are people out there who are concerned about those teams that you mentioned.  Besides, they're actually in the Victoria area.  The last time I looked, this newspaper covered the Victoria area, not the San Antonio or Corpus Christi areas.  As a radio journalist, I understand how difficult it is to cover every team.  We cover our local team and mention the scores of the teams from the surrounding area, but we don't have the time to go into great detail about the other teams' scores.
