I'm going through a serious case of Friday night football withdrawl.
I've been covering high school football for so long that even after the season I have a hard time getting to sleep before 4 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The athletic directors and head coaches made the right decision to cancel the games because of the threat of Hurricane Ike, but it still feels weird not being at a game on Friday night.
Hopefully, the storm won't do much damage and football will return next week.
