Word is the new athletic director and head football coach at Flatonia is Rodney Dowell.
Dowell was the athletic director and head football coach at Louise from 2005 to 2007 and had a 17-15 record.
Dowell replaces David Sine, who left Flatonia to become the head football coach at Sonora.
The Bulldogs went 6-3 last season and finished 2-3 in District 27-1A play.

When you consider the number of good people who left, I surprised that it did not happen sooner!
