• Free speech is very important and you must understand that it works both ways. I'm not offended by your comment nor your post. I am however, tired of people blaming the president for stupid mistakes that congress and the American people make themselves. We as Americans tend to blame a single point rather than the entire and underlying cause.
Don't be offended by my comments, just remember that when your "freedom of speech" invades my personal space I will react accordingly and I expect and count on you to do the same. So for further clarification if you are going to Bash Bush on this page, present Facts with professional, published research references that point directly to your victim. Otherwise you are in danger of being one of the 2% of the nation that screams for change but offers no solution.
As for the "torture" etc. comments. I can't presume to know your background but I can tell you that I want to assume (very dangerous, I know) that you are the 2% I described above. If you aren't or feel you aren't then feel free to ignore any further comments I am about to make.
I am not sure about "rendition" so you'll have to clue me in on that one. What I am sure about is that if you have never served in combat then you certainly have no idea about a few of the things that the press over sensationalizes/lies about nor will you understand the value of such things nor will you understand the difference between how the US treats detainees as opposed to how THE WORLD treats them. What I can tell you is that, if you are that 2% then you need to do more research and expose the facts; turn off your TV and find out for yourself.
I certainly hope you are not that 2%.
Thanks for the provoking post! I haven't had one of those in far too long!

  • I think not.
It's time everyone take a look at their own and finally understand that President Bush is not the cause to all your problems.  Pull your head out of the press and dig deeper into the workings of the the government and two party politics.
George W. Bush is not responsible for the short comings of all other offices within the US Government nor is he responsible for the weather.
I think our fore fathers would be dissapointed in many a president long before President Bush and they would be dissapointed in the people themselves as we have lost the meaning of what it is they stood for.
Wanna Bush Bash, post somewhere else. I don't subscribe to those kind of politics nor will I perpetuate it.
