Most satellite and cable companies record the viewing habits of their subscribers.

They sell the data to Nielson and advertisers.

If you have a cable or satellite company DVR or Tivo, even your recorded program information and viewing of them data is being recorded.

Many major companies in communications are pushing customers to purchase a "packaged deal"  (televising service, cell, phone, and Internet) all in one easy bill payment.  The question one may have is, when will the Internet habits of subscribers be recorded and sold?  or when will they control not only the programs you view, but what websites you view?

I do not like this trend in personal invasion of privacy.
